The master thesis entitled"Study of Heat Pipe Performance with Various Configurations" was conducted by Ali Hakim Mathery at the University of Kerbala. The idea concerns about thermal performance enhancement by increasing the heat transfer area with grooves. The results showed that the increase percentage can be augmented to %11.6 compared to the plain case if the grooves were used. In addtion,, the thermal resistance was decreased to low values by this new modification at all operational conditions. The thesis was accepted by the thesis committee members who were Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohamed H. Abood( Chairman and member), Australia. Prof.Dr. Farhan R. Lafta ( member) and Dr. Ali A. Abdulrasool ( member). The committee member board also included the advisors who are Prof. Nabeel S. Dhedan and Asst.Prof. Dr. Fadhal N. Al-Mousawi ( advisors and members).
